Thickness loss (general/local/pitting)
One of the more common damage mechanisms that requires FFS is corrosion. It can also be one of the simplest to assess, but half of the battle is knowing what data is required and what the most appropriate analysis method to use is. At IES we’ll go to work from the moment you contact us, by providing guidance on what data is required and what level of assessment is appropriate. We’ll then perform the FFS and work with you to provide guidance for a future operation, repair or replacement of the equipment.
