Richard Brodzinski

40+ years in Mechanical Engineering
Richard has over 40 years of experience in upstream and Richard has over 40 years of experience in upstream and downstream oil & gas, mining, and aeronautical industries, with unique skills in reliability engineering, applied statistics, Fitness-For-Service and advanced engineering analyses. Additionally, experienced in design, commissioning, troubleshooting, condition monitoring and selection of rotating equipment, piping vibration analysis and daily plant maintenance and operations of downstream and upstream oil and gas facilities.
Richard has also extensive experience globally in developing and implementing reliability improvement programs for major oil companies. He contributed to development of ISO 20815 Reliability Management Standard and API 691 Risk-Based Machinery Management.
He has been a member of ASME/API-1 FFS committee since 1999. He has over 20 years of experience in performing FFS assessments at all levels, for simple and complex damage mechanisms. He contributed to development of major parts of ASME/API-1 FFS document and is actively participating in development of the standard, including current in-service piping vibration assessment changes.
